Jerry Jeanmard was born in Lafayette, Louisiana. His career path led to New York and Houston, where he became a graphic designer and illustrator. In 1984 he joined the interior design firm now known as Wells Abbott and retired in the fall of 2020. He lives in Houston, Texas.
