Lawrence Lee was born in Denton, Texas in 1978 and currently lives and works in Fort Worth, Texas. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Texas A&M-Commerce, Texas in 2002 and a Master of Fine Arts from the Maryland Institute College of Art, Baltimore, Maryland in 2010. His work has been exhibited in solo exhibitions at the Galveston Arts Center, Galveston, Texas; Rohrer Fine Art, Laguna Beach, California; and Clementine Gallery, New York, New York. He has exhibited his work in numerous group exhibitions including at Fort Worth Contemporary Arts, Fort Worth, Texas; the Art Museum of Southeast Texas, Beaumont, Texas; McKinney Avenue Contemporary, Dallas, Texas; Castle Gallery, New Rochelle, New York; Von Lintel Gallery, New York, New York; Dallas Museum of Art, Dallas, Texas; Plush Gallery, Dallas, Texas; and the University of Arkansas Gallery, Little Rock, Arkansas. Lee’s work is also included in the permanent collection of the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston.
