Considered pioneers of digital imaging, Suzanne Bloom and Ed Hill began their artistic collaboration in 1974. Recipients of numerous grants, including four National Endowment for the Arts Fellowships, their photographs, videos, multimedia projects and installations have been shown widely, both internationally and throughout the United States. Their work is included in many permanent public and private collections including major museums in New Your City, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, Houston and Hanover, NH. A retrospective of their work organized by the International Center of Photography, New York, was shown there in 2002, and at the Museum of Fine Arts, Houston in 2004. They are the honored recipients of a 2021 Guggenheim Fellowship for their current multifaceted project, BEECH//BOOK; an etymological pairing.
